the agenda/organizer issue comes up every single year, when you realize that your days literally pass by your pages. Sometimes, the feeling that i live through pages is very strong and the need to tick the to-do list makes sense. So, for this year, i left behind the usual for me idea of moleskine experience, and i organized myself through the commercial brand of Filofax. I 'd never thought I'd actually consider to put in my everyday life something so -so- common. But it was a first sight love. The Vintage Malden personal organizer has the color of the lips and is now a part of me. Yeap, i've -indeed- taken it to another level and i could easily write an academic thesis about my research on the agenda issue. Really, what a freak.

She declares to be provocative. i don't think that her designs are provocative at all, but i certainly feel strong dynamism, looking at her collection.

Yesterday @ Hellenic Motor Musem.
For his SS12 Haute Couture collection, the designer was based on a very usual and so much used and worn motive: "remembering jackie, grace, audrey, marylin and so many others.." also adding the 'amy' figure.
Vassilis Zoulias haute couture pieces are high quality clothes, but innovation is missing. He never leaves classic or tested success recipe for the chic conservative ladies.
The show was impressive cause of the hosting area, which happened to be the glorious, amazingly designed and styled 'Hellenic Motor Museum' by historic Charagionis Familly. Excellent venue choice, but what if the venue itself overshadows the actual performance?
Anyways, except for the nice warm environment, the whole production was obviously not good, with an impressively and unexpectedly unprofessional seating and doubtful organization (they were actually asking to the guests to pay for the parking which was reserved for the show). But let's focus on the cool things. Great styling by Nicholas Georgiou (thank god), and a very faithfull 50s represantation for hair by Stefanos Vassilakis and makeup by Freddie Kalobratsos. But what i really enjoyed was what really inspired me and left me speechless - the Pericles Kondylatos jewellery. wow.

some days ago i received a magic package with the new vichy - liftactiv serum 10, a powerful anti-wrinkle serum that leaves skin looking and feeling instantly transformed. Use by all skin types and suitable for sensitive skin. But it's mostly recommended for the young age of 35+, so i'm not the case. (Needless to say that I was amazed by the luxury packaging). Sometimes i find twitter/facebook+all the rest really boring and useless, but since everyone around keeps pointing out the value of this modern social bomb, i guess i go with the flow. Maybe it's useful only when u're in the toilet and you're killing time in a timeline. Killing privacy, killing the out there, killing mind. What is good though is that you create a moment not just for a moment. Instant is no more instant. Instant can now be eternal.

yesterday at Pallas Theatre of Athens. A project held by Ozon Raw Magazine.
For some previous 4fashionshake days events click here, here, here, and here.
This time, Ozon Raw team presented a quartet in four movements, with artists and designers from Greece or other countries. We admired the work of Shaun Samson from London, Anouk Kruithof from Amsterdam, Eleftheria Arapoglou (Digitaria) from Athens and Vladimir Karaleen from Berlin. A fashion film directed by Suzie Q. and Leo Siboni for Filep Motwary and Maria Mastori was also projected last night. (Important note: this video, with the title 'Nuptialis: is this real life', was awarded in the frame of the competition organized by Diane Pernet and ASVOFF, with the support of the french Vogue).
Absolut Mode Vodka designed by Gareth Pugh, was (of course) also present.
Last but not least, the Athens String Quartet charmed the audience by playing on stage, accompanying the performance.
The program of 4FASHIONSHAKE DAYS also included the Fashion Room Service event at the St.George Lycabettus last Wednesday - catch up here.

My pavlina brought and offered me a couple of japanese muji plexi glass cases, which have become my latest obsession. I wish i could wear the boxes on me too..

The fashion room service (part of 4fashionshake days) is a different, impressive and conceptual way to present Greek designers and international fashion brands with a dynamic business activity in our country. Organized for the second time in Athens by Ozon Raw magazine, the success was inevitable.
Of course Greece bleeds right now, but as long as brilliant minds and creative hard working hands exist, we have reasons to clap and be optimists. Cause some people DO THINGS. So simple.
Personally, i wish to all these Greek designers to have great success, international sales and an aggressive policy in exports.

what happens when you're decorating your new homey. Easily choose and purchase the basic furniture, and when it comes to carpets and curtains, you realize that there's the whole image difference game. So, the carpet! I'd never thought this would be such a challenge. Carpet is the art of floor. So, this past weekend, after a very selective-selection made by my man and myself, we had the carpets presented in our space, in order to finalize our decision. Help guys. Which one do you prefer?

Important note: These carpets are the result of an artistic procedure that has been done by a famous artist, with the technique of patchwork, they are woollen and come from Azerbaijan.

'Denim Dreams' project took place yesterday at Beton 7, for the 4th time, organized by ozon raw. Coolest denim brands showed their FW11/12 collections in a rather interactive and alive way. Photo expos, live models performance, plus unique denim items, powered by Hellenic Fabrics and created by three Greek designers: Eleftheria Arapoglou (Digitaria), Evangelos Kavathas and Pavlina Papailiopoulou (Ippolito). Pavlina created -just for the event- 3 denim pieces of the JO bag, a name that was given to the piece after me.. thank you again pavlina for this great honour..

yesterday night, evi and pinelopi hosted us in a very warm soiree, in order to come closer to Wrangler's style concept and its people. Today, i can't stop thinking of an expression that evi talked us about. The one that obviously cannot be translated in greek: We Are Animals. It's not about a catchy slogan, but about a whole attitude. A concept of how life should be seen by human eyes. Should i come closer to my insticts? Most probably.
Wrangler's people don't really care about fashion trends and extravaganzas. They are cool and flirt with danger, just because life itself is a danger.

yesterday @ bios, Athens. Tell a story is an international designers' tradeshow, where Alexia Kirmitsi and Anna Petrides presented their SS12 collections. Scrolling down, you'll see a sneak preview of both hysteria asteria and Akira Mushi collections, and trust me they had a huge story to tell...
